Located in the east Berlin district of Friedrichshain. The Germania Palast was considered the main cinema in the district and was also the largest in the district. It was built in 1926 and opened in 1927. Seating was provided in orchestra and balcony levels. It was taken over by the Ufa chain in 1942 and renamed Ufa-Theater Germania. It was destroyed by Allied bombs in 1943.
