Located in the Friedrichshain district in the east of the city. The road was originally named Frankfurter Allee. The Ufa-Germania Palast was opened in 1927. Seating was provided for 1,247-seats in the orchestra and 588-seats in the balcony. It was independenly operated. In 1942 it was taken over by the Ufa chain and renamed Ufa-Theater Germania. On 3rd February 1945 it was totally destroyed by Allied bombs.
