Electric Theatre

This theater was open by April, 1912, when it appears on the Sanborn map. It was located in a very old two story stone building with a brick front. This was built between 1884 and 1886, and is shown on the 1905 map split between a tailor and a baker.

This theater was open at least through 1914-15, when it is listed in the AMPD. It did not survive the fierce local competition, and the 1920 map shows it as a grocery.

This building was one of several demolished around 1957 to construct a large and bland F.W. Woolworth, which is the structure there today.
