This large airdome appears on the 1911 Sanborn. It was constructed sometime after 1906, when a small lunch wagon is shown on this lot.
The airdome was standard construction, only notable for using existing buildings as the side walls.
This theater was demolished by 1914, when the People’s Theatre opened on the same site. As Chanute has declined, this is once more a vacant lot, used for parking.
