Located in Clitheroe, Lancashire. The Palladium Picture House was opened around 1920. It had a 20ft deep stage and the proscenium was 40ft wide. Around 1929 it was equipped with a British Talking Pictures(BTP) sound system. By 1948 it had been equipped with a British Thomson-Houston (BTH) sound system.
Around 1963 it was taken over by the Leeds based Star Cinemas chain. Around 1967 Star Cinemas had converted the building into a Star Bingo Club. It was last used as a snooker club which eventually closed and the building was demolished in the 1980’s.
The site is now a car park for Tesco Superstore supermarket.
