Located in Clitheroe, Lancashire. The Picture Hall was opened in the mid-1920’s and was operated by the Clitheroe Equitable Co-operative and Industrial Society Ltd. It was equipped with a Western Electric (WE) sound system around 1929. It had a 24ft deep stage and the proscenium was also 24ft wide. There were two-dressing rooms and it programmed pictures and variety. The Picture Hall suffered damage from a fire in 1931, causing £4,000 of damage. Repairs were carried out and it reopened.
The Picture Hall was closed in 1961. It became a supermarket and since at least 2009 the much altered building has become an electronics store.
