Tent Theatre

This airdome appears on the 1915 map, in a location that was an empty lot in 1910. It had a simple wooden entry at the front of a fenced enclosure, with a stage/screen at the rear.

This theater doubtless did not operate for very long, and was long ago demolished. The address is a guess. The only existing buildings that were on the 1915 map are the two little one story brick storefronts well to the west. I believe this was roughly where the department store (which appears to date to around 1940) is now.

Note: While the theater was operating, Water Street was known as 1st Street.
