Located in the north of the city centre in the Belleville district at the corner of bis Henri Chevreau & Rue de Menilmontant. The Etoile Cinema was opened in 1909. It was soon renamed Bebe Cinema, named after child star Rene Dary of Gaumont pictures, whose father owned this cinema. It was later renamed Modern Cinema and later Trianon Cinema which closed around 1934.

It has since been demolished and an apartment block has been built on the site.
