Located on Water Street (which no longer exists) in Coatbridge, to the east of Glasgow. The Coatbridge B.B. Cinerama was opened by 1917 by the Bright and Beautiful Picture Company. It was part of the small B.B. Cinemas chain. In December 1928 it was taken over by Denman/Gaumont-British-Picture Corp., Ltd. and renamed B.B. Picture House. By 1930 it had been equipped with a British Acoustic(BA) sound system. It was closed on 28th November 1956 by Circuits Management Association(CMA) (soon to become The Rank Organisation). It was demolished and a supermarket was built on the site.
