Twilight Theatre

The 1910 Sanborn shows a tiny ‘Electric Theatre’ operating in a little wooden building constructed sometime after 1905. The Twilight Theatre was listed in the 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory.

This was possibly put out of business by more spacious competition on the other end of town. The 1928 map shows the structure incorporated into some storefronts, which have themselves been replaced, perhaps around 1940, by the present building.
