The UA Cinema 6 was opened by United Artists on July 2, 1980, and renamed Cinema 6 in 1997 as Wallace/Hollywood takes it over. It closed in 2000 after everyone went to the new central mall cinemas instead.

I only saw one movie here: Hope Floats (1998). It was actually with my grandparents, who were living in Port Arthur for all their lives. And as much as it may pain me to say, I didn’t care for the movie, and even as a 9-year old, I wasn’t exactly impressed by the theater itself either.
