Located in the Bournbrook district in the southwest of Birmingham, to the north of Selly Oak. The 650-seat Bournebrook Electric Theatre was opened on 13th November 1911 by the Bournbrook & Selly Oak Theatre Co. It was later renamed Ariel Cinema (after the nearby Ariel Motor Company) and was closed in September 1933 when the Ariel Motor Company took over the building to be part of their business.
