Louis Theater

My father told me that my grandmother - who attended the theater - told him once that while you were watching a movie, mice would run out under the seats and snatch the popcorn that people dropped on the floor! The front to the grocery store next door still exists, and can be seen in the outer walls of the currently enlarged grocery store. If you look at the photos of the Louis with the storefront next door, look above the storefront to the unique casement of the 4 windows to the left on the upper floor. The framing is currently still visible. The Louis stood where the grocery store’s bakery department is now.
