Located in the Newburgh Plaza Shopping Center on Robin Hill Road, just east of Old Indiana 261. The Newburgh Cinema was built in late-1974 by Michael Enlow and family at a cost of $200,000. A single screen theater when built, it was later twinned in the 1980’s. It was a steel building, 40x125 feet in size, and constructed by Empire Steel of Evansville, Indiana. It featured a masonry front, 389 seats, a red and blue color scheme, extra large screen, 225 parking spaces nearby in the Newburgh Plaza Shopping Center, and an attraction panel sign at the corner of Robin Hill Road and Old Indiana 261. It opened December 25, 1974, closed November 26, 1992, and later was used as a church.
