I believe the owners at one point were Porter A. Smith, Bessie Smith, Albert Smith, John M. Pettis, Grace Pettis, Ury Ealum and Betty Jo Ealum.
The Rincon Drive-In was opened on June 1, 1954 with “Dane Clark in "Fort Defiance” & Angela Lansbury in “Mutiny”. It was operated by the Rincon Amusement Co.
Listed, along with the Yucca Drive-In in nearby Spencerville in the Film Daily Yearbooks of 1964 & 1968.

The Rincon was NOT in Spencerville. There was at one time a drive in there, but the Rincon was in the City of Aztec on Blanco Street. My family spent many Friday nights there in the late 1950s. The sign remained standing in Spencervile for a long time and though I cannot get a clear picture in my mind, it may have been the Yucca.

Boxoffice, Oct. 19, 1957: “Porter Smith, owner of a drive-in at Aztec, N. M., and his manager, Paul Campbell, are building another drive-in. This one is between Aztec and Farmington, N. M., and will open in the spring”
Boxoffice, May 12, 1958: “Paul Campbell and Porter Smith have opened their new 350-car (with room for expansion) drive-in at Aztec, N. M. Campbell will manage”
Boxoffice, April 12, 1965: “Jim Paxton, a resident of Durango, has taken over operation of the Ricon (sic) Drive-In, Aztec, N.M.”
The Rincon opened on June 1, 1954, according to a story and ad (below) in the Farmington Daily News. It had a snack bar, room for “more than 200 cars”, and was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Porter Smith, Mr. and Mrs. John Pettus and Mr. and Mrs. Ury Ealum.
