Cobb Theatres opened their twelfth CinėBistro on February 24, 2017, at the Rotunda in the district of Hampden, following a private charity event held the day before benefiting Art with a Heart.
Offered are full service seat-side gourmet dining, wine and beer in auditoriums, seating between 70 and 100. Admission limited to those 21 years and older.
The 7-screen cinema, with apartments rising above, was built on the Rotunda’s redeveloped area near Elm Avenue and 38th Street. Hekemian & Co. is the developer with Design Collective serving as master planner. The theatre was designed by architectural firm RLS Design Group.
It was taken over by CMX Cinemas in 2017. It was closed on March 16, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. CMX Went in Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April 2020. In December 2020 it was announced that the closure would be permanent.
It was reopened on May 4, 2023 as Warehouse Cinema Rotunda

CMX Cinemas Circuit closed its locations for the COVID-19 pandemic on March 16, 2020. One month later, CMX filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The circuit emerged from bankruptcy months later. In the process, they closed a variety of locations where new leasing terms couldn’t be worked out. The CinéBistro at the Rotunda was one such venue and was closed permanently in an announcement in December 2020.
