The Allison Drive-In was opened on March 18, 1955 with Audie Murphy in “Drums Across the River” & Van Johnson in “Men of the Fighting Lady”. It was operated by Alliance Theater Corp. It was renamed Vincennes Drive-In on April 5, 1974 and closed in 1984.
Now Wag Way Tool, Inc. Most ramps are still visible behind the building.

This was the Alliston Drive-In, which reopened as the Vincennes Drive-In on April 5th, 1974. Grand opening ad in the photo section.
Last season: 1984.
Opened Friday March 18, 1955, Grand Opening print ad as Vincennes-Lawrenceville Drive-In Theatre added to gallery. Opening films were “Drums Across the River” and “Men of the Fighting Lady”, both previously released in 1954.
