Associated Theaters, a theater chain headquartered in Pittsburgh, opened a theater called the Cinema in downtown Greensburg in 1965. The best research I can find is that the first film to play there was during the week of June 30 - July 6, 1965 and was MGM’s “Operation Crossbow” with Sophia Loren and George Peppard. I have heard that the property was later a porn theater and then razed years later for a parking structure and I am still attempting to find out exactly when it closed.
