The Meadowdale Twin Cinema was opened in 1978 by Bill Tomerlin, owner of the shopping center. It was closed in November 1998 after the end of its lease.
It was taken over by Wallace Theaters on February 5, 1999 and renamed New Meadowdale 3. The Record Courier reported the theatre closed after Labor Day 2001 with no prior notice to the community.
