She ain’t a classic, but we love her. The Inwood Stadium Cinema 8 was built in 1998 for MGA Entertainment. It closed in 2011 due to bankruptcy. In the fall of 2024 it was renamed Carson Valley Cinemas 8 It reopened in 2012 under indepencent operators. On March 19, 2022 new operators took over and it was renamed Carson Valley Cinemas 8.

Ironwood 8 Cinemas first opened in 1998, but went into bankruptcy in 2011. The next year Jim Sheehan and partners purchased the theater and have operated it for the last decade. Russ Levinson of new York bought the theatre March 19,2022. The theatre was renamed Carson Valley Cinemas 8. The theatre as it has been since opening is in danger of closure once more.
