Retired here in Abq. been here a few times yes it was a old UA theater they never put a dime in it after they opened, Regal took it they went alone with U.A. once open let it go, BUT THESE NEW OWNERS first of all it clean the dump, it look really good and the latest of CHAIRS the are the state of the art, very latest and reserve seating one fills your own pop corn, and drinks can refill at will, the concession price very low, and the new owners are really trying to make a go of it, heard its a family from ROSWELL N.M. they have a theater there another in Tx.

May 15, 1987 grand opening ad for the armed forces as well as the May 22nd ad in the photo section. It opened with 12 screens and marks the entry into the area for United Artists.

I visited the Icon Cinemas 4 Hills Village on Sunday 14th August 2022 to see the suspense drama “Fall”. As per my photograph of the screens indicator panel, there are actually 11 screens: numbers 1 to 10 plus the “Iconic” screen. This is simply a much larger auditorium; if this was created by knocking two of the original screens into one that would answer the conundrum of 12 screens becoming 11.
