Now a housing estate appropriately called “Cinema Park”.
Opened on 22nd june, 1951 with “Frenchie” and “Bowery battalion”.

The beautiful tower was architected by Ted Rogvoy. Rogvoy created a sister drive-in for Allied Drive-In Management Circuit of Cleveland which operated the Miles at opening with its 1,000 car Ecorse Drive-In in Taylor, Michigan.

Sadly, the Miles should be changed to demolished. Roadsidepeek.com states that the drive in was razed in the summer of 2006 for “redevelopment” (i.e. Walmart lol)
in 1956 it was owned by Miles Drive-in Management Company.

Hello, Im looking for the names of the owners of the Drive-In called Star View in the Norwalk/Monroeville area. I would like to see if he would like to sell. If not Im in the market for a drive-in in the ohio area any help??

You can clearly see in the photo (see link, above) the “wings” added to accommodate Cinemascope. I could see this tower from a tree fort we had at home in Bedford!
The Miles Drive-In property was sold by owner Richard Casterly and his partners to a brick making company from Ireland. That company never build the brick making facility, instead the property is for sale again. All the projection equipment has been removed. The screen tower is in terrible shape due to years of neglect.
Look at the incredible screen tower, we will never see anything built like this again.
