AMC Classic Tiger 13

The Tiger 13 opened on May 1, 2014, with 2,800 high-back rocking seats as well as special services for the hearing and visually impaired.

The BigD screen at the Tiger 13, according to Carmike Cinema, measures 81-feet wide by three stories tall and seats 580. The sound system is a custom QSC digital audio system, tuned to a 7.1 speaker array with 16 channels, upgradeable to 11.1 surround sound. “This system is a true revolution in sound technology, with digital audio processing supported by quad-amplified, 4-way speakers, and 21-inch subwoofers".

The theater has the same technical specifications, including number of seats, as Carmike’s Chantilly 13, which opened in Montgomery on August 7, 2014. At the time of the Tiger 13 opening Carmike noted that they had 252 locations and 2,657 screens in 37 states.
