On March 19, 2015, Dan Harkins cut the ribbon for his latest Arizona theater. The Queen Creek Independent reported that Harkins Theatres, celebrating more than 81 years, is the largest family-owned theater chain in the country. The Queen Creek opening made 31 locations, of which 26 are in Arizona.
Each of the 14 stadium-seated auditoriums feature Harkins Ultimate Rocker, wall-to-wall screens, digital projection and sound technology with audio description and closed caption. For the family they offer a Child PlayCenter.
The theater also has a gourmet snack bar with an expanded menu that includes hot food selections such as Freschetta pizzas, White Castle cheeseburgers, churros and popcorn chicken.

March 19th, 2015 grand opening newspaper and web ad in photo section. They are very small as the ad budget at Harkins has declined compared to years past.
