Ciné Royal

Cine Royal opended in april 1913, and was incorporated in a modern new building after World War II.

In the 1980’s the balcony became screen 2, and a new projection booth was built at the back of screen 1, with some noise problems as a consequence.

After the opening of the 5-screen Pentascoop in 1975 the theatre struggled and finally closed in april 1979.

After years of abandonement it first became a casino, and since 2001 a restaurant named Brasserie Royale is established there. The smoking room is part of the old screen 1, screen 2 on the balcony is untouched.
