Budascoop

The Pentascoop was a 5-screen multiplex, the first of many built by Albert Bert - founder of the Kinepolis Group. After the construction of Kinepolis Kortrijk outside the city centre with 10 screens, the decline of the Pentascoop was a rapid one, and the multiplex was sold.

The 2 largest screens were transformed into theatre and art-performance. The 3 smaller ones became the Budascoop, an arthouse cinema.
