Located on Ribault Road at Mossy Oaks Road in Port Royal, to the south of Beaufort. The Royal Drive-In was opened on May 4, 1952 with Groucho Marx in “A Girl in Every Port”. It was operated by J.W. Millian. It was closed on September 16, 1964 with Connie Francis in “Follow the Boys” & George Montgomery in “Watusi”.
Today the site is a parking lot for Piggly Wiggly, Sears and other stores.
