Located in Smethwick, Staffordshire to the west of Birmingham. The Town Hall was built in 1867. Edward Hewitson began screening films from 25th March 1912, and it was called Pictureland. Business was transferred on 19th December 1912 to his newly built Prince’s Hall and the Town Hall/Pictureland reverted back to civic uses. The room is now used as a public lending library.
