Opened in 1948 as the Marion Road Outdoor Drive-In. On May 27, 1971 it was renamed Starlite North Drive-In. Car capacity was 550 and it was first operated by Ralph Green followed later by Mid-Continent Theatres. It closed in 1977.

The address for this theater was 1220 Marion Rd SE, Rochester, MN 55904. Now several businesses including the US post office. Eastgate Drive SE runs through where the drive in stood.

The Starlite North Drive-In theatre opened on May 27th, 1971. Grand opening ad posted. Work on this drive-in was started by Mid-Continent Theatres in 1966.
