The Time Theatre opened on January 8, 1937 with Deanna Durbin in “Three Smart Girls”. The Time Theatre was operated through the 1940’s and 1950’s by Minnesota Amusement Co. Mann Theatres took over in 1967. It was later operated by the Rochester Theatre Co.
The Time Theatre closed on April 25, 1982 with Everett McGill in “Quest for Fire”. By 2009 the building was the Union Labor Center. It became Legends Bar & Grill. In 2022 the patio beside the river became The Deck on 4th & Zumbro.
