Located adjacent to the Rushmore Mall and less than a mile from the Carmike 10. The Rushmore 7 was opened by Carmike Cinemas on September 30, 1993. It was taken over by AMC in 2016. Seems to be a move-over house for the other theatre, and plays art/indie films as well. It was taken over by Golden Ticket Cinemas in June 2019, and reopened on November 1, 2019.

Now the AMC Classic Rushmore 7.
Glatz-Jacobsen Architects in Lakewood, Colorado designed the facility.
This opened in the early 1990’s as Rushmore 7 by Carmike Cinemas. It was taken over by AMC in 2016 and renamed AMC Classic Rushmore 7 in 2017. Awaiting digital newspaper archives for the era.
Did it screen the movie “Charlie and the chocolate factory”(Johnny Depp version)?
