Bijou Cinema

Located in Parkstone, near Poole, Dorset. The Parkstone Empire Cinema was opened around 1911, showing Bioscope films. By 1914 at the beginning of World War I it had been re-named Bijou Cinema. This small cinema (possibly a shop conversion) was possibly closed during W.W. I.

In 2013, a hairdresser’s named So operates from the front of the building.
