Located in Parkstone, near Poole Dorset, on the corner of Ashley Road and Jubilee Road. The Victory Palace Cinema was opened in 1920 with Jack Devereaux in “Grafters” and Hazel Dawn in “One of Our Girls”. Variety shows were also a part of the programming. It was operated by James Bravery.
The Victory Palace Cinema was closed on 24th February 1935 with Joe E. Brown in “Tenderfoot” and Florence Desmond in “High Society”.
It was demolished and the Regal Cinema was built on the site, opening on 18th September 1935. This too has now been demolished, and an Iceland supermarket is located on the site in 2014.
