The Regal Moorestown Mall Stadium 12 7 RPX Theatre opened December 12, 2013. This theatre was built on the site of the former RKO Stanley Warner’s Plaza Moorestown Theatre (aka Eric Moorestown Plaza Twin Theatre/United Artists Moorestown 7 Theatre).

Regal’s website has showtimes for what seem like 6 auditoriums. One strong possibility is that new lounge style chairs are replacing the regular luxury chairs in those auditoriums, because of great box office success at other theaters with that kind of seating. Another Philly area multiplex, the AMC Plymouth Meeting 12 also closed down 6 auditoriums at a time while replacing their seats.
