The Echo Drive-In was opened on November 18, 1950 with Jeanne Crain in “You Were Mean’t for Me”. The drive-in could accomodate 300 cars and was operated by Gulf States Theatres. It closed on July 5, 1981 with James Ryan in “Kill and Kill Again” & “"Kung Fu of the 8th Drunkard”. It has since been demolished.

The Echo Drive-In opened its gates on November 18, 1950 with Dan Dailey in “You Were Meant For Me” (unknown if extras added) plus a fireworks show after the movie. It was closed on July 5, 1981 with “Kill And Kill Again” and “Kung Fu Of The 8th Drunkard”.
