The address is 2033 Ruth St, Sulphur, LA which is on the south side of the town just north of HWY 10. In a 1967 aerial photo, the drive-in appears closed.

Today, several businesses occupy the property with no trace of the drive-in remaining. http://tinyurl.com/pw68f4n

Same drive-in? The Independent Film Journal reported on April 4, 1953: “The new 400-car Frontier Drive-In at Sulphur, La. will have its formal opening around April 20 for all year operation with 5-6 changes weekly.” The owners were Guidry and Duplisses.
