The Alamo Theatre was open in the early-1920’s. Seating was listed at 400. The theatre went thru an array of operators, Seanger Amusement Co., Publix-Saenger, Paramount-Richards, and finally Paramount-Gulf States. The theatre closed in 1955. The lobby of the theatre is now occupied by Nelson Cotton.
