The Sawmill Square 5 was opened by Gulf State Theatres on December 18, 1981. It was later operated by United Artists Theatres. Regal took over operations in 2002. Amenities include digital projection and sound RealD 3D, online ticketing and first run attractions. In February 2020 it was taken over by Southwest Theaters.
