Martin Theatres operated the Knox Theatre which was located just off Main Street. The Knox Theatre was open prior to 1940. Not long after this 300 seat theatre was closed Martin built the new and much larger Martin Theatre at 131 Main Street (now the Thomson Twin Cinema). The Knox Theatre has long been demolished.

it was still standing I am pretty sure in the early 90’s.looks like they were using for local ballets and such.
