The Caprice Showcase Theatres opened on July 1, 1995 (Canada Day) as part of the Caprice Showcase Theatres chain at the Newton Town Centre on 138th Street in Surrey. The theatre’s three screens held a total of 702 seats and played second runs of recent Hollywood releases. In 2008, the Caprice Showcase underwent a name and ownership change as it became the Hollywood 3 Cinema. It was closed on December 29, 2022.
