Located in the north of the city centre. The Palais des Glaces was opened as a cinema on 24th January 1920. Seating is provided in orchestra and balcony levels. It continued use as a cinema until 1970.
It then became a music hall and concert venue, with artistes such as Nina Simone appearing. In the mid-1970’s it became a punk rock concert venue, with bands such as Clash appearing. Since the 1980’s it has been converted into a live theatre for small productions and live performances.
