The Highway Drive-In was located on the right hand side of U S Highway 90, east of Defuniak Springs, Florida. My 1952 Theatre directory shows it was owned by E. L. Goodwin, along with the Ritz Theatre downtown and my 1956 directory shows both theatres were owned by Martin Theatres who also owned the Ritz downtown.
The 1956 directory also shows a Trail Drive-In, but this is probably a renaming of the Highway 90 Drive-In? I traveled this road many times in the late-1960’s when I was stationed in Pensacola Fl. Don’t know if there are any remains left.

Historic Aerials shows a small drive-in there in 1956 at the address of 633 US-90, Defuniak Springs, FL 32433. It’s now Consolidated Ace Hardware, could this be the site?
There are 2 locations that show up in the 1956 historic aerials images, one at 633 US-90 west of town south of the highway and the other at 2226 US-90 west of town north of the highway. I don’t know which is the Highway and which might be the Trail.
