Hoyts opened this theatre in Greece Ridge on July 10, 1998, replacing Hoyts Cine 8 down the street which shut down when this theatre opened. This was the first theatre in Rochester to have stadium seating. Currently, Regal ran this theatre after they purchased Hoyts Cinemas in 2004. It is located behind the Mall at Greece Ridge. It was closed by Regal on March 9, 2023.
In June 2023 it was taken over by Apple Cinemas who plan to renovate.

July 10th, 1998 grand opening ad in the photo section. It is the last cinema complex to open in the Rochester area as of 2015.
The venue has made the latest Regal closure list; no firm closing date is associated with that.

Per the Regal website and numerous news reports this theatre closed after its shows on Thursday 3/9. I’m not sure this is happening anymore. We are a year and a half later and there’s been no new news.
