According to a front page advertisement published by The Kung Sheung Daily News on 7th February, 1937, the Sun Sun Theatre was in business showing Cantonese films. Sun Sun is the Cantonese pronunciation of its Chinese name, literally meaning new or modern, its exact English name if any is unavailable. Its opening and closing date and number of seats is pending further research.
