Located on the corner of Queen Street and Lemon Road. The Imperial Electric Theatre was opened prior to 1914. It had a 23 feet wide proscenium arch. By 1934 it had been renamed Imperial Theatre and was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system.
The Imperial Theatre was still operating in 1963, but it had gone from listings by 1966. The building today houses a 352 Sports shop and a Cut Cost Carpet shop.
