This small second-run, double-feature theater was located in the Norarte Shopping Center, which also included a Western Auto and offices of the local telephone company. It opened on the former site of a small grocery store.

I went to Cinema Norarte once and saw a double feature consisting of the pilots to the late-1970s TV series “Battlestar Galactica” and “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century”.
The Map shows the Southern United States, Central America, and even the Caribbean, but only as far East as the Dominican Republic. I could find nothing on Norarte except Plaza Norarte which is not the same thing.
Could use more info and photos.
