The Cinemas 1 & 2 was opened by Tri-States Theatres on July 22, 1970 with Burt Lancaster in “Airport” & Alan Alda in “MAS*H”. Each screen had 365-seats. On December 14, 1979 it was split into a triplex. It was taken over by Sony Theatres in December 1994 and by Loews Cineplex in 1996. The small movie house reopened in 2002, but was closed in September 2007.
By 2016 it was being used for storage by the adjacent grocery store. In September 2017 it was being converted into a Planet Fitness gymnasium.
