The following further information was given to me by the Cambridge Springs Heritage Society:
Construction on this theater began on September 13, 1911 and was completed in 1912 and opened on July 4th of that same year. One W.F. Workman of Rochester, Pennsylvania was the builder.
Talkies were introduced in June of 1929. In 1935, Louis Rothenstine bought the theater and gave it the name Rose, after his mother; it had this name until the theater closed in May of 1971. In May of 1988 the theater was reportedly torn down and the site is today a parking lot.

All I remember about this theater is that I saw my first movie there – Mary Poppins. In my teen years, long after it had closed, I was told by many people that it was not uncommon to see rats run across the floor during the show.
Another theatre turned into a parking lot! When will this insanity STOP!?!

This theatre is mentioned in the Aug/Sept copy of Reminisce Magazine. It states that it was located right next to a set of railroad tracks. And that the theatre would shake when trains went by.
