Super Show Cinema

The South Western Cinema was opened in around 1914. By 1927, it had been re-named Super Show Cinema and programmed pictures and variety.

It was closed on 13th November 1940 due to a German bomb landing on the cinema and exploding.

A bomb damage report dated November 13th, 1940 states, “Bomb burst inside auditorium, Cinema closed.”
