The Screven Drive-In was one of two drive-ins in Sylvania. It opened by 1955 and was owned by Marion Anderson. It parked 200 cars. It was still open in the early-1980’s.

Here is a 1958 aerial photo of the drive-in, courtesy of Earth Explorer and USGS.
It was still there in 1981, may have operated into the early 1980’s? The derelict concession building still exists along with what appears to be the screen foundation and the entrance marquee foundation.
Boxoffice, Dec. 17, 1955: “Norris Stephens, buying and booking agent for a number of operations in Georgia, has leased the Grand Theatre and Screven Drive-In, Sylvania, effective January 1.”
